Permanent Makeup has been available as a cosmetic procedure for around 30 years in the UK and is now more popular than ever with clients wanting to benefit from it. There are many benefits from time saving, to medical camouflage. Have a look at our past blog with more details about the benefits.
Bare in mind the length of time this has been in practice and the availability and popularity of permanent makeup in the current day, I still get asked the basic question, “What is Permanent Makeup” and “What is Semi Permanent Makeup?”
In brief, both these terms refer to exactly the same thing. There is no difference. A procedure where specially formulated pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of this skin. Tracy Fensome uses EU & FDA approved mineral pigments which are high quality and safe. The period of time that Permanent makeup lasts is dependant of skin type and lifestyle but on average around two years and 12-18 month refresh top-ups are highly recommended to keep the enhancement looking defined.
