I am honoured to have been asked by ARTiSPA to be one of the Master Judges and Sponsors at the Permanent Makeup V International Championship in Warsaw, Poland. A showcase of attendees will compete to win this International Championship by performing amazing eyebrows, eyeliner and lip treatments.
My background of 25 years is in training as well as performing micro pigmentation in the UK and abroad. I am also a VTCT Assessor within the beauty and makeup education sector so assessing skills is second nature to me. The hard part is with such amazing talent and creative techniques being performed it will make it challenging in choosing the winners. I want them all to win!
I have great respect for all the competitors in any championship of this kind. Most recently I was also a judge at the first UK PMU championship where skills from using both digital permanent makeup and microblading were head to head in exhaustive skill sets. It is nerve-wrecking for the technicians to have judges watching over them and also the pressure of timing and ultimately to produce the best permanent makeup results to win. That said do not let that put you off registering. To Win an accolade of this accomplishment is an amazing experience and much kudos is gained. Careers can change overnight. I encourage all micro pigmentation technicians to come and compete and show off their permanent makeup skills and gain the recognition they deserve.
With the excitement brewing I cannot wait to see the level of work coming out of the championship for eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. This is going to be a fantastic event and there are some excellent prizes on offer. I advocate to all UK techs to register and take part on the 5th and 6th March 2016. The organiser and founder of ARTiSPA Iwona Marciniak has a great line up for the two days not to be missed. If I, Tracy Fensome can help answer questions or give advice on training in the UK please do get in touch with me. In the meantime, do consider registering and representing UK as I will be with my business partner Marc from Signature Academy.
