The hottest technique in Permanent Cosmetics at the moment is the demand for Ombre brows. It is by no means a flat two toned eyebrow but more a subtle gradient creation. Very different to the multi tonal ombre hair that became the talk on the Hollywood Red carpet in 2015.
It washed itself out in the hair industry by 2016 but the Ombre brow is still a top favourite of the A listers and celebrity crowd. This type of brow has now superseded the Microblading brows – just by a smidge Tracy adds..
Tracy Fensome Leading Permanent Makeup UK Artist and Trainer performs at least 5 of these popular brow effects a week. When asked what is the difference from the original powder brow to the new Ombre brow? she explained the two effects do have some similarities. To achieve perfect finish to an Ombre it is all in the creativity of the artist’s tattooing the multi colours into the skin that makes the difference from a mediocre to master finish.
The original powdered result mainly used just one pigment colour and the process was to implant over and over into the skin to create density and depth of colour. Now the Ombre dominates over the original method by using two to three shades that are implanted with a light whipping technique to create a gradient light to medium shades from bottom to top. First impression the eye is captured by the elegant bulb with misty entrance to the main brow. End result will be a multi dimensional effect suitable for clients with no brows, thin brows and even those that have brows. They are lush and heal beautifully soft or bold depending on the client’s needs. Very alluring finish!
The treatment can be booked with Tracy at any of her clinics in UK and takes around 2 hours. You could call it a late lunch brow revival! To book a consultation or to find out more about her treatments call Tel 07980578252
